Will Trustly be integrated through a platform provider or payment gateway? Using a hosted solution might affect the customer interface and we recommend that you always talk to your relationship manager about how the shopping experience will look on your website.
A payment service provider (PSP) provides merchants with online services for accepting electronic payments by a variety of payment methods. The Trustly OBeP service can be integrated through a PSP in different ways.
Integration is made with the PSP but the merchant has a direct agreement relationship with Trustly. Access to Trustly Backoffice gives the merchant direct account and settlement functions. Several Technical PSPs currently offer the Trustly Pay-in product.
Trustly also develops and continuously updates modules for open-source e-commerce platforms as Technical PSPs of Trustly’s payment services. A module is an add-on to your webshop that adds new functionality. After entering an agreement with Trustly, installing and setting up the Trustly payment module, your customers can pay with Trustly in your webshop. We currently support the following open-source shop systems.
The merchant purchases and handles the Pay-in service through the PSP’s interface, including settlements and reconciliation. The merchant has a direct agreement relationship with Trustly but does not have access to Trustly Backoffice. Examples of collecting PSPs that support Trustly are:
